This NEW  wider stainless steel Tray Trowel, is the perfect tool for spreading sauce-like foods. Designed to ensure uniform freeze drying.  It has two preset depth levels for making 3/8″ and 1/2″ layers.  If pulled at a steep slope, your layer can be even thicker. It also has a handy hole for hanging. Pull lightly for the initial passes, firmer as you go.  Even fits the old aluminum Harvest Right trays.  Due to Tray width variances, Measure your tray INSIDE width, or see “Trowel Size Chart”, then choose your size. We suggest using the next size smaller trowel, since food will plow up on the ends.
