Description

Custom-built for the Harvest Right freeze-drying process, designed to efficiently pierce the skins of fruits and vegetables, trusted by customers worldwide. The Roller Berry is available in two models: the ‘Standard’ version (1 lb / 0.45 kg), which includes FDA-compliant, food-grade HDPE spacers optimized for non-contact use, and the ‘Commercial’ version (1.9 lb / 0.86 kg), which upgrades to stainless steel spacers for enhanced compliance requirements. As the tool rolls, its spiked wheels pierce the berries, while a stainless steel comb gently clears them before they reach the spacers. Both models are constructed from fully food-grade, bacteria-resistant materials.

This versatile tool is ideal for piercing all types of berries, grapes, grape tomatoes, cranberries, elderberries, and other produce for both freeze-drying and dehydrating. No more tedious poking, cutting, or smashing each berry. The long, tapered blades pierce fresh berries quickly and efficiently, processing approximately 5 lbs in under 10 minutes and up to 1 lb per minute with practice. Featuring 456 blades 3/4″ (19 mm) long across 19 independently rotating wheels, each precisely spaced at 3/16″ (5 mm) for optimal performance with blueberries. 

Designed to fully process fresh or frozen berries all the way through without crushing; our custom ‘Acacia Cutting Board‘ is recommended to keep frozen berries securely in place, plus many other foods.  For best results, use the ‘Roller Berry’ on any wooden surface, dish towel, or our Acacia Cutting Board with dual rails and a center channel (available in the drop-down menu). The ‘Roller Berry’ is dishwasher safe; however, the cutting board should be hand washed with warm soapy water. Don’t forget the optional protective case (offered at our cost, with no profit), designed to protect both the tool and little ones’ hands.

Cleaning: For the ‘Roller Berry’, cleaning depends on what is being pierced; however, for fruits and vegetables, a simple hot water rinse or spray hose is typically sufficient. Allow the tool to dry completely (24–48 hours) before storing it in the case. It is also dishwasher safe (top rack only).  For the Acacia Cutting Board, hand wash only with warm soapy water using a sponge or cloth. Do not place in a dishwasher, as this may cause warping and may loosen the rubber feet.

Return Shipping Policy: Returns must be initiated within 14 days of receiving the item and require a $50 mandatory cleaning fee. Customers are responsible for shipping the item back via UPS with full insurance coverage.  Once the returned item is received and confirmed to be in excellent condition, a refund will be processed (minus the cleaning fee). If the item is lost or damaged in transit, you must file a claim with UPS to recover its value.

Customs & Duties Policy: International customers are responsible for all applicable tariffs, customs duties, taxes, and other jurisdictional fees associated with importing their order. These fees are collected by your local customs authorities and are not included in the product price or shipping cost.
