Description

Custom built for the Harvest Right freeze drying process for piercing fruit and vegetables skin, our product proudly boasts worldwide sales.  The Roller Berry is available in 2 models: The ‘Standard’ version (1 lb) includes FDA-compliant Food Grade HDPE spacers optimized for food-processing use in non-direct contact positions. As the tool rolls, its spiked wheels pierce the berries, while a stainless steel comb gently removes them before they reach the HDPE spacers. The ‘Commercial’ version (1.9 lb) upgrades to Stainless Steel spacers for any compliance requirements. Both models feature fully food-grade, bacteria-resistant materials.  Take pride knowing that each ‘Roller Berry’ is made by 5 separate workers and takes 20 separate steps, meticulously handmade right here in the USA.   This is the ideal tool for piercing fresh: all berries, grapes, tomatoes, cranberries, elderberries and other vegetables; for both freeze drying and dehydrating.  No more tediously poking, cutting or smashing each berry.  The long tapered blades easily pierce through fresh berries with speed; approximately 5 lbs in under 10 minutes, then once practiced up to 1 lb / minute.  There are 456 blades that are 3/4″ long, on 19 wheels that rotate independently; symmetrically spaced at 5mm specifically for blueberries.  Designed for deep penetration of fresh or partially frozen berries, as well as many other foods.   For best results use the ‘Roller Berry’ on any wooden surface; or our custom ‘Acacia Cutting Board‘ with the 2 rails and center channel, located in the pull down menu.  The ‘Roller Berry’ is dishwasher safe, however the cutting board should be hand washed with warm soap & water.  Do not forget the optional protective case (sold at our cost, no profit); it protects both the tool and little ones hands.

Cleaning: In regards to the ‘Roller Berry’ it depends on what you are piercing; but generally for fruits and vegetables, I have had success with a simple hot faucet rinse or the spray hose.  Be sure to let it dry a day or two before storing it in the case.  It can also be washed in a dishwasher (upper shelf).  For the ‘Cutting Board’ hand wash with warm soapy water, using a sponge or cloth; never use a dishwasher, since it will warp and the rubber feet will fall off.
